The Stonewall Salon

The Stonewall Salon is a completely free program designed for LGBTQIA+ people and allies, ages 50 & up. It is a unique opportunity to be a part of a theatre ensemble created in a safe and fun environment.

This program centers on personal storytelling–sharing lived experiences as a way to build community. We are particularly interested in spotlighting the intersectional experiences of our LGBTQIA+ community members, ages 50+

We encourage participants from all cultures, languages, gender identities, socioeconomic status, faith or spirituality, and more. Our facilitation team is able to work in Spanish & English, and all languages are welcome.

Led by professional theatre makers and educators, The Stonewall Salon ensemble, will create an original theatre production that weaves different theatre & art-making modalities: movement, acting, and more. Performances will be held on Diversionary’s historic Mainstage!
