In The Belle of Amherst, a “love affair with language,” Emily is a vibrant, creative soul who deliberately chooses her poetry over societal involvement. Portraying Emily is Humboldt County veteran actress Toodie Boll. Toodie has toured the show to California, Florida, Texas, and Arizona. She received her BA in Theatre and MFA in Directing from HSU.
