Sordid Lives 25th Anniversary Benefit Screening
Cult classic film SORDID LIVES exploded from the independent film circuit in 2000 to become a massive cult classic hit with “the gays and the grays” and had it’s LA premiere presented by Outfest at the Renberg Theatre July 6, 2000. Starring Leslie Jordan, Delta Burke, Beau Bridges, Bonnie Bedelia, Beth Grant, Ann Walker, Rosemary Alexander, Newell Alexander and Olivia-Newton John, the film spawned a LOGO TV series and a sequel film and play to be one of the longest running gay franchises of all time
PALM SPRINGS! SORDID LIVES is 25 years old THIS YEAR! And it truly all started with the love at the Camelot Theatres and from the Palm Springs community that turned it into the cult classic hit it is today.
SO JOIN US leading into Palm Springs PRIDE, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 7:30pm at the Palm Springs Cultural Center for a fundraiser screening, COSTUME CONTEST and Q&A with creator Del Shores and Emerson Collins.
All ticket sales benefit the Del Shores Foundation and its work to find and develop new LGBTQ+ playwrights and screenwriters.
