Castro is featured in Queer Lens: A History of Photography, Getty Museum, Los Angeles~ through September, 28th, 2025.
Rick’s photography & ephemera is part of Rick Owens: Temple of Love, Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de Paris~ through January, 4th, 2026.

His current book is Rick Castro S/M Blvd: Street Hustlers Photographs & Remembrances-1986-1999, All Night Menu- publisher.
Rick Castro co-directed and wrote Hustler White, (1996) with Bruce LaBruce, and directed the documentary, Plushies & Furries, (2001) for MTV and Channel 4, UK.
Columbarium Continuum by Rick Castro, is his unique photographic museum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood. Open 9am-4pm daily.
