Fire Island Beach Day Blow Out
National Queer Theater celebrates the inaugural Fire Island Theater Festival with a Beach Day Blow Out — a fun day trip to Cherry Grove to enjoy the beach, catch two staged readings, and toast to the end of summer. Your ticket covers roundtrip LIRR, shuttle bus, and roundtrip ferry — NQT handles all the details getting you there and back. Already on the island? The readings themselves are free. Donor tickets include reserved seating, a free cocktail, and a chance to meet the artists.
Featuring staged readings of Thursdays Come At Morning (5PM) by Lee Cataluna, directed by Jeff Liu, and The 365 Party Girl and Saint Mary Francis (7PM) by Chidube Egbo, directed by Cooper Howell.
