Circa Festival: Queer Histories Festival
70+ Programs. 30 days. 31 Venues Across Los Angeles.
One Institute, formerly ONE Archives Foundation, is proud to be collaborating with over 30 venue partners across Los Angeles for Circa: Queer Histories Festival.
We are co-presenting 22 programs with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ community service provider and a staple in the Los Angeles queer community for over five decades. One Institute and the Center will co-present ONE Magazine at Seventy, the Institute’s anniversary exhibition celebrating seven decades of work uplifting LGBTQ+ voices and advancing queer rights and visibility.
We invite you to join us at Los Angeles-based venues including Honor Fraser Gallery, Goeth-Institut, Junior High LA, Gender Justice LA, and The Connie Noman Transgender Empowerment Center. There will be multiple programs at Whammy! Analog Media and at William Grant Still Arts Center, a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
We also welcome you to screenings and parties at a number of LA’s most beloved queer bars, including Eagle LA and Akbar, as well as several Southern California campuses, including the University of Southern California (USC), Cal State LA, and California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
